A New Mind for a New Era

I want to speak to you plainly for a moment.
As we step into this new era, I’ve become deeply aware of how important our thinking is going to be. Not just what we believe—but how we think. The Holy Spirit keeps bringing me back to this truth: we cannot carry old mindsets into a new time and expect to walk fully in what God is doing.
Scripture tells us, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” That isn’t a suggestion. It’s an invitation—and for this season, it’s a necessity.
Why This Matters Right Now
I believe God is doing something fresh in the Body of Christ, but before it shows up outwardly, it must take root inwardly. Many of us have grown accustomed to thinking shaped by past seasons—old disappointments, former battles, wounds, even past victories. And while those seasons taught us something, they are not meant to lead us.
The Holy Spirit is gently but firmly asking us to release ways of thinking that no longer serve the work God is calling us into.
This new era requires discernment, maturity, and spiritual clarity. And all of that begins in the mind.
Letting Go of the Past Is a Decision
I’ve learned that letting go isn’t something that just happens—it’s something we choose.
Paul said, “Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.” That word forgetting doesn’t mean pretending it didn’t happen. It means refusing to let it define how we move forward.
Some of us are still allowing past pain, old labels, or familiar patterns to influence present decisions. But the Holy Spirit is inviting us to trust Him enough to move ahead—even when we don’t have the full picture yet.
The Mind of Christ Changes How We Respond
When I look at Jesus, I’m struck by how steady He was. He didn’t react out of fear. He wasn’t led by emotion or pressure. He listened to the Father, followed the Spirit, and stayed rooted in truth.
That’s what the mind of Christ does—it anchors us.
The mind of Christ helps us respond instead of react, discern instead of assume, and move with confidence instead of anxiety. And in this new time, that kind of spiritual steadiness is vital.
This Is a Moment to Move Forward
I sense strongly that God is calling His people to stop circling old seasons and start walking forward with intention. That doesn’t mean rushing. It means trusting the leading of the Holy Spirit more than the comfort of what’s familiar.
Renewal of the mind is how we step into that trust.
Scripture tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, and I believe this transformation is key for the Body of Christ right now. New thinking produces new movement. Clear thinking produces confident obedience.
An Invitation for This New Era
As we enter this new era together, my prayer—for you and for me—is that we choose the mind of Christ daily. That we allow the Holy Spirit to reshape how we think, what we expect, and how we respond.
This is a new time. It deserves a renewed mind.
Let’s move forward—free from the past, anchored in truth, and led by the Spirit of God.
